The 17th Corps Field Hospital is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation in Illinois. We are dedicated to educating the public about Civil War Medicine.

We have educators, RN's, accountants, first responders, retired Police Officers, educators, and college students in our group. We do medical displays and demonstrations in the Midwest.

Our group is the largest Civil War medical group in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Iowa. We also work with the paramedics at National Reenactments that have 3,000-5,000 people on the field as the medical staff for the First Federal Division.

Check out our entire blog including our favorite Medical Links which links to our Confederate Medical side, the Army of Tennessee Corps Hospital.

We are available to speak to private groups, libraries, historical societies, genealogical groups, and schools for a fee.
